Garden Connect has integrated its webshop platform with Amazon. The integration automates stock control, order handling and the publication of products on Amazon. Most garden centres are aware selling on Amazon helps to generate revenue but it does take a lot of time: the stock has to be updated manually, product information must be added in a very specific way and orders have to be processed manually. The integration Garden Connect developed saves time and makes selling online a lot easier!
Garden centres who are having a webshop with Garden Connect can activate the Amazon integration. Sjors Hemmen, business developer of Garden Connect, explains how this works: "Most centres don't want to push all their products to Amazon. So the first step is to add all required information to products in the existing webshop and to link them to the correct Amazon category. Once that's done, products will be pushed to the Amazon account of the garden centre. This is an automated process and saves a lot of time. If you update an image on your webshop, it will be updated on Amazon as well, for example."
Garden centres who are having an epos integration are enjoying even more benefits: "Since product data like stock levels and prices are retrieved from the epos, we can update this on the webshop and on Amazon automatically. So if you're running low on stock products can be removed automatically from your webshop and Amazon. An integrated system makes sure you never sell products you don't have in stock."
The integration is available to garden centres who are using the Garden Connect Platform: "We truly believe garden centres need to be where their customers are. Offline with a brick & mortar store, online on their own website and on the biggest shopping platform in the UK, Amazon. Having an integrated approach doesn't make it complicated at all and we're glad we can help our customers via this integration."
