The first Christmas shows have been opened in garden centres across the UK & Ireland: Christmas is an important season for garden retailers so be sure your website is as good as your Christmas show! Here are three tips how to make this happen.
Setup a photo album
Of course the first recommendation is to setup a photo album on your website. You can use your digital camera or smartphone to make photos of your Christmas products and upload them to your website. Consumers who are orientating online will be inspired and encouraged to visit your garden centre for their Christmas shopping!
Did you know all websites of Garden Connect do have a function to create photo albums and to create slideshows with rotating images in a blink of an eye?
Add activities to your website!
A lot of centres do have events during the Christmas period. Be sure all events are mentioned on your wesbite. Upload them in a calender, add them as a news item and put them on your frontpage to maximize exposure. Consumers looking for nice things to do during the upcoming months should be able to see what's going around!
Did you know all websites of Garden Connect have an interactive calender for activities, news items and free to use option to add entry forms? We offer you maximum flexibility!
You already know you will start selling Christmas trees early december, Santa's visiting your centre in the weekend of the 15th and your after-Christmas sales will start on the 27th. So why don't you schedule your offers, news items and newsletters to be published and sent out while you still have time for it? Working ahead of your schedule works well, especially when it's busy in your garden centre!
Did you know Garden Connect offers you scheduled news items, offers & newsletters? You can just add them and they will be shown or send on the date entered - and your offers will be removed once expired. That's how we save you time!
We hope you can use these tips to be more successful during Christmas. In case you want to have a chat about your website or to improve it before the Christmas season really takes: call us on 0203 475 5541 or send an e-mail to email@example.com.
