Last Tuesday Garden Connect joined the RBIS Midlands meeting to give a presentation about loyalty, websites, e-commerce and social media.
During the 90-minute presentation the Managing Director of Garden Connect, Edwin Meijer, covered a wide range of subjects in regards to online marketing. "But not only about online marketing since many centres have questions about print marketing as well", explains Edwin. "The only thing I can tell about print-marketing: as media consumption shifts from offline to online marketing budgets should follow."
After an in depth talk in future loyalty schemes a few examples of good social media campaigns were shown. Edwin Meijer: "Writing a great Facebook post is always a challenge so looking at big brands like IKEA and KLM helps to get into the right mood". The presentation also covered Google Adwords - and how to make this profitable and some more easy to implement tips to improve the online presence at Google making it an effective meeting for all centres.
The presentation and tips are not available publicly but have been sent to the garden centres who joined the meeting.
