QV Web Services, the leading provider of online marketing services to garden centres in the UK and Ireland, has been acquired by Garden Connect. Garden Connect were previously equal partners in the business, providing IT support and systems but have now set up offices in Luton from where to run the company.
Edwin Meijer, MD said “Garden Connect provides services to over 150 garden centres in the UK, Ireland as well as in the Netherlands and Belgium. We have the unique ability to build phone apps, webshops and websites dedicated to independent garden centres. Our services are unique in Europeand we have more on the way!”
Ian Lucas will continue working for Garden Connect: Ian said “The reason we are taking this step is that we believe we can offer our clients an even better range of online services and support. The online world is changing rapidly and with a team of 15 developers, marketeers and designers to rely on we are able to create more advantages for our existing and new clients.”
The company will be re-branded as Garden Connect, in line with the other European business and has set up offices near Luton. There will be some changes in the staff: Eimert de Graaff will withdraw from the company, and Stephanie Burniston has been appointed as account manager. Edwin Meijer will work from Luton two days a week from 1st January 2013.
